Over 30 chess athletes competed in the September 18 La Grange Public Library tournament, and out of that 30 were 3 players from the Urban Louisville Chess Club. There were 3 rounds. All three of our club members each scored two victories out of 3 matches!
Our chess club is hosting the James Harris Memorial Tournament, October 16, Saturday, at Launch Louisville, 816 East Broadway. Registration time starts at 1030 am and ends at 1115 am. The entry fee is ten dollars payable at www.paypal.me/kentuckychess. Every one is welcome!
