One Million Dollars in 24 Months

It is official. At the last Board of Directors meeting it was decided that the Kentucky Chess Ambassadors would commit to raising one million dollars in 2 years. Said money would be managed by Guidance Capital, one of the best asset management companies in North America, and based in Louisville, Kentucky.

At a 4% return on the one million dollars the Kentucky Chess Ambassadors can continue functioning as a full-time chess program and easily reach 100 students a year (through after school programs, Saturday workshops, summer chess camps, one on one tutoring and coaching, etc..

In fact, the program can operate on 24,000 dollars a year reaching 100 students. This means an individual, couple, family or company can send a 20 dollar a month deductible contribution for 12 months and that would fully sponsor a student.
