Coach Corbin's Vision

My vision for the Kentucky Chess Ambassadors is larger, much larger than what the group's name suggests. My vision is the planting of successful chess programs throughout the United States of America. I plan on using the Kentucky Chess Ambassadors as my vehicle for planting successful chess programs whenever and wherever possible.

My "end game" is helping chess, as an individual sport and as a team sport become as popular and as profitable as any other professional sport in the USA. Just as you can easily find urban youth in New York, Kentucky or California aspire to become professional basketball players. I want to hear in the coming years young people in Ohio, Kentucky, Texas an Alabama talk about their desire to become professional chess athletes.

That is my vision...
