Chess and Financial Literacy

Today was our first financial literacy training session. A total of eight people came out. Out of the eight, 4 came out for training as a financial coach. It was paid training! They all passed. So now our program has four qualified, level one, certified financial literacy coaches.

The other four were students. They received some powerful one on one training from a coach of mine and played some bughouse chess for about an hour. They just loved it!

There will be a bughouse tournament September 3, Saturday, Launch Louisville, 816 East Broadway, 11 am. The team entry fee is 8 dollars. The top 4 teams receive a team trophy. All are welcome to compete including adults.

Our next financial literacy workshop for young people (under 17) is scheduled for September 10, 12 noon to 130 pm. It will be at Launch Louisville, 816 East Broadway. Come get some financial literacy through fun, food and fellowship....board game winners receive Free Enterprise dollars!
