The next chess club meeting takes place on February 26, Sunday, 2 pm. It is a potluck at Launch Louisville, 816 East Broadway. It is taking place on a Sunday because Coach will be traveling from Atlanta that Saturday.
Bring if a dish if possible. It is not required. Come prepared to discuss the Queen City Classic, and we will be reviewing 3 classic chess games to sharpen our tactical play and understanding.
The David James Chess Classic takes place on March 18, Saturday, at the California Community Center. The start time is 445 pm. NO entry fee. Bring a few dollars for tasty concessions. Prizes awarded and there will be a one dollar raffle for a 25 dollar Kroger gift card.
